I found it interesting that at the beginning, Legacy Russel pointed out that on the internet, they could be whatever they wanted. I feel like it is still the case today, people can virtually be whoever they want on the internet, and it being harder to get caught if doing something they’re not supposed to. Their true identity can still be found out, but it’s harder to do so on the internet, due to being whatever, or even whoever, they want.
Later on, they state that “when we gender a body, we are making assumptions of the body’s functions.” This is totally true in the world, being assigned to one gender at birth and a process to become the gender one feels comfortable with, but once in the internet space, one can be whatever gender they want without the process of physically becoming it.
