Exploritory Writing

I think Legacy Russel makes a good point on the first page of text in part six, about how gender essentially embeds itself in everything we see and experience every day. This can be anything from clothing made for men or women, activities considered “manly” or “girly,” or even toys made to be played with by boys or girls. There’s a large portion of what we see that leans one way or the other in regards of gender. Legacy soon goes on to further explain this by stating that it the geopolitical territory, that it is a foundational framework. I feel like this is both interesting and insightful because it seems as long as living being have been aware of the differences of gender’s, the societies that have formed either have different roles for the different genders or, at the very least, are aware of them. And at the very least, aware that there is a minimum of two genders. It seems that Legacy is, at least in this part, starting to bring up the fact that, at least in the human race, since the society with two genders has been around for so long, it has been a process to break the mold and reform it.
